Santa Cruz is always a great place to just come to the beach and relax in the sun all day, try surfing, stroll around town, or get a nice meal with a view. You can rent a boat to explore the bay and take it to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Wharf! The beauty of Capitola is that it is laid-back and easy- going with only the basic beach activities and events to distract you from simply enjoying the beautiful weather with friends and family. And to give you even more reasons to vacation at the beach here are some new exciting things happening in the area to come check out!
Restaurants to Check Out In Santa Cruz This Spring
There are some new restaurants and cafes in town! Sotola Bar and Grill just opened up on the Esplanade. They've got healthy, organic food that you can eat while overlooking the water! Good for the body and soul. And if you like tacos, check out the recently opened Mijo's Taqueria, a quick walk from the beach, stop in and grab a meal to-go for you and your family to enjoy ocean front. For dessert try Off the Block Snow Cream in the Capitola Mercantile. What's snow cream you ask? Well I'm not entirely sure, but it's delicious and you should try it. They also have boba, hot chocolate, and other sweet treats.
