Relax and birdwatch on the expansive 3 level deck which overlooks the lush Borregas Creek Open Space. Lounge on the outdoor daybed with a glass of wine, while taking in the magnificent sunset. Stay cozy after sundown, stargazing with the outdoor gas fireplace. There's an outdoor hot shower and sunken hot tub for total relaxation. The interior of the house is a curated mix of modern and vintage furniture. There are wood floors throughout (no shoes please) and hotel quality beds. The dramatic living room with 12' ceilings and flooded with natural light, is where everyone comes together for dinner, drinks and good conversation with friends and family. There's an open plan kitchen with bar seating for 4. There's a dining table that comfortably seats 6. In the master bedroom, patio doors open out on to the deck. There's a walk in closet and spa like bathroom with soaking clawfoot tub. In the bright second bedroom has a king size bed and ample closet space. The third bedroom is for the younger set, with two twin beds. There's a TV with cable, so the little ones can watch cartoons while you sleep in. The main bathroom boasts a walk in shower and modern clean fixtures. It's about a half hour hike through the open space to New Brighten State Beach and a 12 minute walk to Beachgate stairs for Seacliff Beach. Take an early morning half hour run on the beach to Rio Del Mar and back. We then prorate for the dates you are at the property sending a copy to you for your records and reimbursement to the owner. Please note that the First months' rent and deposit are payable by cashier check or money order. We are sorry, we do NOT accept credit cards for rental payments, but we do require it for our records and for your utility bills that may come after your departure.
